Print of a Curious Harbour Seal
Curious Harbour Seal
The kelp forests of Northern Vancouver Island attracts a multitude of aquatic life. This Seal surfaced near my drifting boat and was assessing whether I was a threat. I’m always amazed at how large their eyes are which I assume are an adaptation for low light conditions. This image was taken on the traditional territory of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw peoples.
